How far will you go for $$? ...

For those of you who don't know, Jeffrey has had about 2 months off from dental school for the summer. During this time he has discovered several ingenious ways of making money without actually having a job. One of the ways he's been making money is writing reviews for yelp.com - a sort of CitySearch Web site where people review restaurants and other businesses. It's a start-up review site, so for a couple of months they have been offering a promotion to get people to submit reviews ... they pay you $1 per review, $6 for a review with a photo of the place you are reviewing, and $5 every time you refer someone and they write 25 reviews.

So Jeffrey wrote his 100+ reviews, referred me, then started writing reviews for me. Here's the latest review he wrote for me this morning ... it's about my favorite bagel shop in Boston. And ... by the way ... he has NO idea that I'm writing this post and will most likely be embarrassed that I flaunted his superb review writing skills all over the Internet. The Finagle-a-Bagel Post:

"This store was my first Finagle experience. I was visiting Boston a while back and had not yet been introduced to the Finagle slicer-thrower-bagel-mower. It's incredible! They throw your bagel on a conveyor belt and you get to watch as it inches toward certain slashing, then it comes in contact with the blade of death and it's catapulted down to the end of the counter where it will be loxed, cream cheesed or buttered to your taste. Great bagels and entertainment too! What else could you ask for from a bagel place?"
